Color studies

Meanwhile all of you know I love playing with color. Making color swatches is one of them. Not only from a professional point of view (being a color consultant), but I also love to see the paint flow and blend on the paper. I have no specific preference for color but I prefer to make/paint them with watercolors. Using lots of water makes the paint flow easily on the paper and when using more colors together it’s fun to see ‘happy accidents’ appearing. The color may vary or I choose them depending on the mood I’m in. I mostly choose a color palette intuitively, which I then will use for days, or maybe weeks. Until I run into a, sometimes, glimpse of another color that inspires me to create a new palette. How about your preference for color?
