Last prompt of the week was ‘animals’. I love woodcreatures, they’re kind of magical to me. Knowing that they’re in the woods and you almost never see one in person, makes them mystical. And I can use my own imagination when painting them.
Who is the fairest one of all? I used a portrait I did some years ago, I like her mystic expression, what is she thinking and musing about?
Insect are taking over, next prompt for #folktalesweek.
Next prompt for #folktaleweek was ghosts, and she isn’t scary at all!
As you might have noticed along my journey, I love fairy tales. I was more than happy with the Instagram challenge #folktaleweek which I joined.
First prompt was #forest. As Little Red Riding Hood is one of my favorite characters I played with layers and had fun creating this illustration.
I love setting the table in a colorful way, I mix and match tableware I collected from antique shops and flea markets together with several table cloths in big flower prints. The most romantic thing is the rare occasion when we can have dinner outside, sitting under the Catalpa tree with it’s big leaves. When looking at all these collectibles in my cupboard and see all the different shapes an color coming together, I feel inspired to draw and paint.
