What I’ve been working on

The past months I’ve been working hard to contribute work for Zoejo Design
Zoejo is a young Design Studio, dynamic and full of energy. I love their vision and I’m very proud to contribute to their portfolio, see below for glimpses of work. If you will, take a look at their website to learn more about them.

I thought it was about time to do another introduction for new readers and followers on Instagram.
I’m trained as a color consultant, having made many color designs in the past. Colors are never dull to me, it is the combination of colors that makes the difference between dull and vibrant. In parallel I painted.
I’ve always loved to illustrate. Being a little girl I lived in my own world, having a great imagination. I doodled on every piece of paper.
I’m constantly inspired by the beauty of the mundane as in nature, evaluating creations, reading, looking through magazines, collecting lovely scraps of paper, doodles, a still life, flowers, animals or listening to my favorite music.
I’m a child at heart, and making visible what’s in my mind is what I love. I like musing about all sort of creative thoughts that wander my mind, my inspiration will be transformed in an idea immediately and a new creation is born.
I follow my perception and observation to represent the way I see and feel the wonders of life around me.
I see my daily painting as a visual journal. I work quick, it’s like all of the inspiration has to come out immediately. I make raw sketches, all of them lying on the floor because my worktable never is big enough. It feels like journaling, documenting my life. It’s a great outlet for my creativity.
I love making portraits and turn them into anthropomorphic animals, adorned with patterns.
My daily painting has brought me where I am today, and I don’t mean to attach any other value than just the feeling of being fortunate to be able doing what I love. It’s the passion of my life.
