Gift tags

I love making these tags, I buy them plain white and decorate them with little illustrations in watercolor. This time I also covered a big matchbox with my painting and put the tags in the box which makes a lovely gift all together.

This one was made with coffee, I’d put some coffee in a bowl with 6 tags and let them rest for a couple of hours. The tree is painted with a twig and black ink, then I put some watercolors that made the ink bleed which I love, it gets a natural look. The result is always a surprise to me, this one had some wonderful touches, as if it were crystals, ideal for the forest ground around the pine-tree. It was a happy accident.
