Blooming Hyacinths

Flowers bulbs are the first flowers in our garden: Daffodils, grape Hyacinths, Hyacinths and Tulips, being very brave as it is still cold when they start to show their beauty. As there are no leaves yet, their vibrant colors pop out against the neutral background. I would never pick any flowers, I just leave them in their natural environment.
Instead, in February, when it’s still winter and cold outside, I always get some flower bulbs for my worktable. I put them in a pot or vase and decorate them with whatever comes to mind. This can be fake little eggs, some mosses or felted ribbons. I wait patiently for them to bloom, enjoying the process of growing, no rush, just let the flower bloom whenever it feels ready to.

I like to illustrate my imaginary world by expressing and translating my thoughts and feelings into color and pattern.
