As promised a video of the book I shared Saturday. There’s still a lot of space to fill up, another fun part of making these small creative books.

The first picture shows some of my favorite colors when making the papers. These are acrylics, I also use inks, pastels and gouache. It’s always a mix. I like how every medium has its own character. I’ll now work on the cover, which isn’t finished. To be continued….

I’m still having fun with making these small books. And they’re never finished, I can keep adding papers, colors and writing. I’ll share a video soon, now I’m enjoying the process of things unfinished and incomplete. I think I prefer that about the finished product 🙂 It’s not about perfection! The start of a new book. I’m planning to fill this artjournal with leftovers from the paper I use for the other journals. My plans can change 🙂 so I’ll see where this brings me, and meanwhile thinking what I will do with the pompoms, I just love the colors together with the book.

What I was working on today, a new artjournal or another signature for a journal I already made. I’m not sure yet, as always, and it will be clear along the way. And I can always change my mind right 🙂 I did some painting, writing, and lino cut printing here. And there’s a tag if you look closely.

I’m filling the artjournal cover I made this week, you can see it in the picture. It’s fun to move the papers around and see what will go together. I will bind/fold it in a concertinabook format which I like most, for now. That might change when I’ve learned other binding techniques.

I sometimes start with a cover, not knowing what will be inside of the booklet. This has a stitched spine with shiny threads, brown and gold. The brown fabric perfectly matched the sepia of my watercolors. To be continued for what will be inside 🙂 Have a lovely day wonderful friends 🧡

When you follow your intuition you are listening to the whispers of your soul instead of the noise of the world around you.

Why? Because your action is aligned with your heart’s true desires.

But following your intuition takes practice. You need to be able to listen inwards. To discern between when you are allowing fear and scarcity to lead you and when you are guided by sufficiency, possibility and trust.
